There were a bunch of apples in the fridge that were about to go bad and I wanted apple sauce so today I made apple sauce. To make apple sauce you peel the apples, core them, and dice them up. Then you boil the pieces of apple until they become really soft. After the apples are softened you put them in a blender and then add sugar and cinnamon and blend it again to mix everything well. After this the apple sauce is supposed to be done but my applesauce was too watery so I poured the applesauce into a pan and boiled off some of the water until it was at a consistency that I liked. After that I ate it. It was some of the best applesauce I have ever had and it was also warm because I had just finished cooking it. I enjoy apples by them selves but I generally don't like applesauce but for some reason I was really in the mood for applesauce today. It kind of like chipotle, some times I can't stand the thought of eating it but other times that's all i want. For me it's just one of those foods that you have to be in the mood for. I just hope I'm in the mood for it later because I made a ton of applesauce. I used almost a dozen apples which, at the time, didn't seem like that many but in hindsight maybe I should have used less.
