Thanksgiving was awesome. This year thanksgiving dinner was at my parents house and a family that we’re good friends with came over and my grandma was supposed to drive in but she didn’t feel well so she just stayed at home. It was nice to see the other family though because we used to do a lot of things with them but I haven’t seen them in a while. For dinner we had turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, creamed corn, and some other things that I can’t remember. Then for desert we had pumpkin pie, chocolate pie, apple pie, and black cherry pie. We didn’t have the black cherry pie but I got that at the store right before dinner. So once the other family got to our house we realized that we didn’t have any whipped cream for the pumpkin pie and so me and my friend Nikki hopped in the car and drove to Kroger’s to pick some up. We went to the store and we got the whipped cream but when we were walking towards the register Nikki saw the black cherry pie and we both agreed it looked really good so we bought it in addition to the whipped cream. When we got home our parents were kind of annoyed that we bough the pie because we already had three others but we ended up eating most of the pie so it was OK. After dinner we just hung out and watched a movie, then the other family went home and we cleaned up.
